Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio | The Comb Down | Hank Roberts Trio
Ashley Ickes (ICK-ess) is a professional drummer living in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. Existing under the radar for years as a professional on the grind, she was discovered by organist Delvon Lamarr on TikTok in August 2024 and went on tour with him two months later. She also has experience in studio work and over twenty years of private instruction. Ashley was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Currently Ashley is the drummer for the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and has toured much of the U.S., Europe, and South America with DLO3. When not on the road, she plays with several projects in upstate New York -- The Comb Down, the Hank Roberts Trio, and the "not your average wedding band", The Swooners. For the last decade, she has held a weekly residency with a group of local nerds playing fully improvised music backed by obscure films called Galactic Monday, an installment that remains very dear to her heart. She works independently as well, appearing live and on several studio recordings.
Ashley keeps a full schedule with touring and performing, many private students, remaining a lifelong student of the drums herself, and her sweet pup Zookie who takes her hiking when she's not drumming.

DLO3 plays feel-good music, delivering a fresh sound inspired by the classic organ trio set up of the 1950s and 60s. Touring big cities and hidden pockets across the globe, the band's perpetual goal each show is for the listener to forget their problems and be with us -- in the moment, in the groove.
A 7-piece all out funk throw down that pays homage to the deep cuts of the 1960s and 70s.
